Our Plant Guarantee

All trees* and shrubs carry a 1 year, 50/50 guarantee. Plant must be brought into the nursery for inspection and must be accompanied by a receipt. Only replacement or store credit will be issued. Van Winden's Garden Center cannot be responsible for plants damaged by frost, heatwave, wind, drought, excessive water, animals, vandals, or neglect.

Bare Root fruit trees, grapes, and berries must be returned by May 31st of the same year to be eligible for guarantee.

Unfortunately WE DO NOT guarantee houseplants, florist color, annuals, vegetables or anything smaller than a 1gallon container.

*We are unable to guarantee Christmas trees, houseplants, florist color, annuals, vegetables, pottery
or anything smaller than a 1 gallon container.

Return policy

Receipt is required for all returns, exchanges, or store credits. Purchaser's name, address, and phone number are also required. All salable plants and non-plant items may be returned within 30 days in the original container for refund, exchange, or store credit. Items must be returned in salable condition with original packaging and tags.

All holiday and seasonal items must be returned within 24 hours with original packaging and price tags.

All clearance and discounted items are not returnable.

A 25% restocking fee may be charged for returns and cancelled special orders.

Refunds will be paid out in the same form as the original purchase. If paid by check, we will issue a refund check within 10 days.
