Our staff’s favorite mulch is on sale! G&B Soil Building Conditioner is perfect for layering on top of your beds and around your trees. It is a fine mulch texture and it is full of the good stuff like composted chicken manure, gypsum, oyster shell & dolomite limes, vermicompost, bat guano, kelp meal, and mycorrhizae. It is a beautiful dark brown color that really makes a garden look tidy and polished too.

We suggest using a 3+ inch layer around the base of your plants, being sure to keep the mulch from touching the base of the plant. A thick layer of mulch will preserve the moisture in your soil, provide a good environment for the good bugs to hide out, and improve your soil texture and health over time!
