Mushrooms in the Garden: the good and the bad!

  • Garden Center 1805 Pueblo Ave Napa, CA, 94558 United States (map)

Speaker David Shubin returns to explain the fungus that is among us! Did you know there’s an entire underground network quietly shaping your garden’s health? Join us for a fun, eye-opening class designed for curious gardeners. You’ll learn how mushrooms and fungi recycle nutrients, build living soil, and form secret partnerships with plant roots. We’ll explore why those mysterious mushrooms popping up after rain are signs of a thriving ecosystem and not something to fear.

In just over an hour, you’ll gain a new appreciation for the role of fungi in supporting plant growth, improving soil structure, and keeping your garden in balance. Leave inspired and equipped with simple, practical ways to invite more beneficial fungi into your own backyard. Come ready to look at your garden (and the mushrooms in it) in a whole new light!
