Give your favorite houseplants the care they deserve in this hands-on repotting workshop led by houseplant expert Sam Myhre. Whether you’re new to houseplants or looking to expand your skills, this workshop will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to help your plants thrive.

Each participant may bring two plants from home, and we’ll supply fresh soil and new pots to give them a healthy start. Sam will guide you step by step through the repotting process, offering practical advice on how to know when your plant needs a larger pot, how to safely handle delicate roots, and how to minimize stress during the transition.

But this workshop goes beyond repotting basics. You’ll also learn about the fundamentals of plant care, including fertilizer choices, staking techniques, and sunlight requirements for a variety of houseplants. The small class size ensures plenty of one-on-one support, while the group setting allows everyone to share tips and experiences.

The workshop will be held outdoors in our shade house, providing an ideal learning environment. Expect a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where you can ask questions, get your hands dirty, and leave with stronger, healthier plants.

The workshop fee is $40, which includes all supplies. This workshop length is about one hour. In the event of heavy rain, the workshop will be canceled and refunds issued.  Join the workshop.
